Agartala, Oct 13, Oct. 14 -- Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Spear Corps, in a joint operation with the Customs Department, Agartala, apprehended an individual and recovered 1.994 kg of Yaba tablets valued at approximately Rs.2 crore at Mohanpur in Tripura. The operation was conducted as part of coordinated efforts by security forces and law enforcement agencies to curb narcotics trafficking and disrupt the networks involved in the illegal drug trade.During the operation, the joint team apprehended the individual and seized the contraband, estimated to be worth around Rs.2 crore.
