Kiphire , July 12, July 13 -- In a touching gesture of gratitude and solidarity, the Assam Rifles celebrated the birthday of Smt. C. Alemla Sangtam, wife of Martyr Constable (GD) S. Amongba Sangtam of the 17 Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), at Kisedong village in Kiphire district of Nagaland. The programme, organised on July 11, was aimed at honouring the family of the brave soldier who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation and reaffirming the Armed Forces' commitment to standing with the families of martyrs.A team of Assam Rifles personnel visited the martyr's family, extended warm birthday wishes to Smt.
