Srinagar, June 24 -- The Assam Rifles conducted an Outreach Drive for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their dependents at Mokokchung, reaffirming its commitment to veterans' welfare and support systems in Nagaland. The event was chaired by Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, and attended by senior Assam Rifles officers along with civil dignitaries. Around 300 ex-servicemen and their family members from across the state participated in the programme.A total of 32 grievances were received during the drive, out of which 24 were resolved on the spot.
