Shillong, Sep 24, Sept. 25 -- The Assam Rifles Annual Communication Conference 2026 was conducted at Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles (HQ DGAR), Shillong, on September 24-25, with a focus on strengthening communication infrastructure, IT architecture and operational connectivity. The conference was held under the aegis of Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, and chaired by Col Apurva Bhatnagar, VSM, Chief Signal Officer, HQ DGAR, along with the Signals team.Communication Staff Officers from various Assam Rifles formations and senior representatives of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) attended the conference.
