Shillong, Sep 15, Sept. 16 -- Director General Assam Rifles Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, released a coffee table book titled 'The Unnamed', authored by young mountaineer Bhukya Yashwanth Naik, at Headquarters DG Assam Rifles on September 14. Bhukya Yashwanth Naik, who hails from Maripeda in Telangana, is known for his mountaineering achievements and became the youngest mountaineer to scale Mt Gorichen, one of the prominent peaks of the Northeast.An avid mountaineer, Naik has scaled 14 peaks so far and continues to explore the region's diverse landscapes and communities.At present, Naik and his team are undertaking an expedition to explore and document the natural beauty, cultural diversity and people of Northeast India.
