Gouripur, May 1, May 2 -- As part of its ongoing outreach initiative, the Assam Rifles conducted a welfare visit to Gouripur in Bhiwani on 30 April 2026, reaffirming its commitment to veterans, families, and the extended Assam Rifles fraternity. During the visit, the outreach team attended a family function and conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of the Assam Rifles, on the occasion of a daughter's marriage in the family.
