Srinagar, Feb 12, Feb. 13 -- Accredited Social Health Activist workers on Thursday staged a protest in Srinagar demanding implementation of the Minimum Wages Act and raising slogans against the National Conference government. A large number of ASHA workers assembled in the city and voiced concern over what they described as inadequate honorarium and delay in ensuring statutory wage protections.
