Army shoots down Pak drone in Jammu's Khour sector
Srinagar, July 31, Aug. 1 -- A Pakistani drone was shot down by Army men in the Khour sector of Jammu district on Friday. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was recovered from the border village of Chakla, where troops detected it flying near the International Border.According to sources, the drone was spotted hovering over Chakla village in Khour sector."The troops opened fire on the drone, successfully bringing it down. The drone was later recovered from the area and secured for forensic and technical examination," they said.Sources said the drone suspected to be of Chinese origin had allegedly been modified for surveillance operations.Army men recovered the drone along with a 64 GB microSD card from the site, they said.Security agencies...
