Chandel, Aug 3, Aug. 4 -- Assam Rifles conducted a Registration-cum-Selection Drive for its Pre-Recruitment Training Programme at Modi, Chandel district, on August 1, 2026, providing aspiring Agniveer and Territorial Army candidates an opportunity to prepare for a career in the Armed Forces. The drive witnessed participation from 175 aspirants, including 125 males and 50 females, who underwent registration, document verification, medical screening and physical fitness assessments.Following a rigorous selection process, 50 candidates (34 males and 16 females) were shortlisted for the next phase.
