Srinagar, April 24, April 25 -- Nearly 10 months after the launch of the Vande Bharat train service between Srinagar and Katra by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the direct train service between Jammu and Srinagar would start from April 30. It will give all weather connectivity to Kashmir. Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishno Devi will inaugurate the train service. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh and other dignitaries will also be present on the occasion.Railway officials said preparations for the historic event have begun.
