AIMSA Raises Concern Over PG Stipend Disparity in J&K
Srinagar, Sep 16, Sept. 16 -- The All India Medical Students' Association (AIMSA) has raised concerns over alleged disparities in postgraduate stipends in Jammu and Kashmir compared with other states, as well as differences in payments between SKIMS and government medical colleges across the Union Territory. Dr. Mohit Choudhary, Chief Advisor of AIMSA and a postgraduate resident at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, said the variations had led to concerns among postgraduate residents over equal compensation for their clinical duties and other responsibilities.
