Srinagar, March 12 -- Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Kashmir has recently procured 17 High Genetic Merit (HGM) dairybulls imported from the United States of America, marking a significant milestone in the genetic upgradation of bovine livestock in Kashmir Province. These elite male animals have been genomically evaluated and ranked under internationally accepted genetic performance indices (15 different parameters) of Council on Dairy Cattle Breeding (CDCB), USA and have been classified as elite category breeding bulls.
