Srinagar, Oct. 28 -- The Department of Agriculture Kashmir has taken swift and comprehensive action following reports regarding the spurious DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate) fertilizer consignment in the Kakran area of district Kulgam. Immediately after the matter came to notice, a team of enforcement officers from the Agriculture Department were directed to assess the situation and verify the authenticity of the reported material. The team conducted a detailed field inspection, during which samples of the suspected fertilizer were collected and forwarded to the notified laboratory for scientific analysis to ascertain its composition and quality.
