Srinagar, July 1 -- Afcons Infrastructure has secured an arbitration award of Rs.149 crore in connection with a tunnel construction project in Jammu and Kashmir, providing financial relief in a long-standing contractual dispute. According to sources familiar with the matter, the dispute arose from claims related to cost escalations, execution delays, and contractual obligations in a strategically significant tunnel project executed in difficult Himalayan terrain.
