Srinagar, Feb 13, Feb. 14 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government informed the Legislative Assembly that the Achan garbage dumping site is being managed through scientific interventions rather than abrupt closure.Responding to a question by MLA Shamim Firdous, the Housing and Urban Development Department said the site has accumulated decades of legacy waste and serves as Srinagar's primary municipal solid waste facility.
