Poonch, September 8, Sept. 8 -- A four-year-old girl from Mendhar in Poonch district died at Government Medical College Jammu after her family alleged that she developed serious complications following an injection administered at a private medical shop. The deceased has been identified as Aaira Kouser, daughter of Imtiaz Ahmed and Tahira Kouser, a resident of Upper Uchhad in Mankote area of Mendhar. According to the family, the child was given glucose and an injection at Uzain Medical Hall in Uchhad. They alleged that she subsequently developed severe swelling across her body and her condition deteriorated.
