July 19, July 20 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, J&K Police achieved another major success by apprehending three drug peddlers in separate operations in Anantnag and Awantipora and recovered significant quantity of contraband substances from their possession. In Anantnag, a police party of Police Station Achabal during naka checking at Kanganhal intercepted and apprehended one person identified as Zubair Majeed Lone, son of Abdul Majeed Lone, resident of Tailwani. During his personal search, 1.7 Kgs of Ganja powder-like substance was recovered from his possession.
