Imphal, Aug 10, Aug. 11 -- Security forces have apprehended 10 cadres and recovered 41 weapons, explosives and other war-like stores during a week-long series of intelligence-based joint operations across several districts of Manipur, officials said. The operations were conducted from August 2 to 9 by formations of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, in coordination with Manipur Police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).The coordinated operations were carried out across both hill and valley districts, including Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Kakching and Kangpokpi.Among those apprehended was the self-styled SS Army Chief of the United Kuki National Ar...
