Srinagar, Sep 29, Sept. 30 -- A total of 118.06 km of roads has been macadamised or upgraded across Srinagar district during the current financial year through joint efforts of the Public Works (R&B) Department and Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary informed the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. Replying to a question by MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar, the Deputy Chief Minister said 15.43 km of roads in Khanyar constituency had been upgraded under special development directives.He said the R&B Department's community centres in Srinagar generated Rs.6.83 lakh in revenue during 2025-26, compared with Rs.4.15 lakh in the previous year.
