New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Qualcomm and Amazon are expanding their technology partnership through a multigenerational agreement focused on custom AI chips and advanced optical connectivity for large-scale data centers. The arrangement could involve Amazon purchasing up to $60 billion in Qualcomm chips and related products, giving the semiconductor company a major opportunity to accelerate its expansion beyond smartphones.
