India, Sept. 29 -- According to the Global TB Report 2025, India has the highest burden of tuberculosis (TB) in the world, accounting for 25% of all global TB cases. Further, the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) situation is critical, as we have recorded 32% of the world's drug-resistant TB cases.
