The Sports Injury Centre (SIC) of Safdarjung Hospital under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed in the presence of Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava and Secretary, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Hari Ranjan Rao.

This MoU is a step towards strengthening institutional cooperation to provide comprehensive sports medicine and healthcare services to sportspersons and support staff associated with Sports Authority of India.
