Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the state-of-the-art Maternal and Child Centre and Centre for Advanced Neurosciences at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of a 150 bedded state-of-the-art Critical Care Block at PGIMER, Chandigarh under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM).

Minister said that the inauguration of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities and the foundation stone of new projects at PGIMER is an important step towards providing quality healthcare services to lakhs of people.
