India, Oct. 23 -- Global pharma major Lupin Limited has announced the appointment of Brian Savage as President, Chief Legal Officer. Savage will lead Lupin's global Legal, Compliance, and Intellectual Property Management Group (IPMG) functions, and will be based in New Jersey.

Savage joins Lupin from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held several senior leadership roles since 2015. Most recently, he served as Teva's Executive Vice President and Interim Global Chief Legal Officer. During his tenure, he also led Teva's global litigation strategy and served as General Counsel for its U.S. Generics business. Prior to joining Teva, Brian practiced law at Dechert LLP.
