Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) (Formerly Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services), is going to develop a State-level Biomanufacturing Hub through collaborative efforts in the coming period in Bengaluru. In this regard, KITS is actively engaging with industry partners such as Anthem Biosciences and Laurus Bio.

Responding to the industry's need and industry stakeholders who emphasised the need to establish Karnataka as a leading destination for biomanufacturing by developing a dedicated Biomanufacturing Hub in the state, the state government is actively working on setting up a Biomanufacturing Hub.
