India, Sept. 4 -- India has launched BIO-NIVESH, a new strategic platform of the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) aimed at strengthening connections between promising biotechnology startups and the investment community.

The platform was launched by Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, with the inaugural edition bringing together more than 20 startups and over 50 investors under one roof.
