Singapore, Aug. 21 -- Aztron Medtech Corporation, a US-based orthopaedic device company, has announced that its Taiwan subsidiary, Astron Medtech, has received the Presidential Award, the highest honor presented through Taiwan's National Development Council (NDC) Startup Programme, together with a NT$10 million grand prize.

The award recognises the company's innovation and commercial achievements following a rigorous nine-month competition. Co-founder and CEO Yi-Hsi Huang delivered the company's final presentation, earning 1st place out of nearly 3,000 startups nationwide. The Presidential Award recognises companies demonstrating exceptional innovation, commercialisation potential, and economic impact.
