Singapore, May 1 -- Japan-based Shionogi & Co. has joined the World Economic Forum (WEF), and signed the Davos Compact on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

The World Economic Forum, established in 1971 and headquartered in Switzerland, is an independent international organisation committed to improving the state of the world. It engages leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas. The Forum provides platforms for dialogue on critical global issues, including through its Annual Meeting in Davos and various public-private partnership initiatives across sectors.
