Singapore, Sept. 16 -- Federal Express Corporation has completed its inaugural Frederick W. Smith Day of Service across Asia Pacific, bringing together more than 590 volunteers in community and environmental initiatives across 11 markets.

The programme was created to commemorate the legacy of FedEx founder Frederick W. Smith through volunteer service in local communities.

Across the region, FedEx team members worked with nonprofit organisations and community partners on projects spanning food security, environmental conservation, community wellbeing and educational support.
