Dhaka, Feb. 25 -- The written exams for the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will begin on Apr 9, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, the commission said it has decided to proceed with the written tests on the previously announced tentative date.
Candidates requiring a scribe for the exams must apply by Mar 10, the commission said.
According to the PSC's schedule, results of the written exams are expected on Jul 30. The oral exams (viva voce) will begin on Aug 10, with final results scheduled to be published on Nov 25.
The preliminary test for the 50th BCS was held on Jan 30, and the results were published on Feb 10, with 12,385 candidates qualifying for the written stage.
