Dhaka, July 2 -- A worker has been electrocuted top death after coming into contact with an electrically charged machine at a polythene factory in the Kamalbagh area in Dhaka's Chawkbazar Thana, according to his co-workers.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Saiful, 32, who lived at the same factory in the Kamalbagh Polythene area.

He was rescued in an unconscious state around 12:30am on Thursday and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
