Dhaka, April 26 -- A high-speed motorcycle collision with a car has left two young men dead on the 300-feet road in Narayanganj's Rupganj.
The dead, identified only as Rifat, 21, and Sakib, 19, were residents of Bancharampur in Brahmanbaria.
The victims were uncle and nephew and were reportedly students at a college in their hometown.
The accident occurred around 1pm on Sunday at the Jolshiri junction, according to Sohail Rana, chief of the Kanchan Highway Police Camp.
"The car was taking a turn at the junction when a speeding motorcycle, travelling from Kanchan towards Kuril on the service lane, crashed into it," the officer said.
He noted that the motorcycle was travelling at approximately 120km per hour.
