Dhaka, Dec. 8 -- The two divisions of the National Board of Revenue -- Revenue Policy and Revenue Management - will be introduced during the tenure of the interim government, NBR Chairman Md Abdur Rahman Khan says.

He expects the two divisions to begin operating soon once the remaining bureaucratic procedures are wrapped up by December.

"You know that all the legal processes to separate revenue policy and revenue management are almost complete," the NBR chief said.

"Now the implementation process is under way. We are moving very fast on the matter. The allocation of business has nearly been finalised, and the rules of business are also nearly complete."
