Two Indians detained with kush concealed inside travel trolleys
Bangladesh, Aug. 24 -- Two Indian nationals have been detained with more than 5kg of kush at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport, just two days after another similar seizure.
The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) detained the pair on Monday afternoon, according to a statement issued on Monday night.
The detainees were identified as 36-year-old Sanowar Ali and Imtiaz Ahmed, also 36, both from North 24 Parganas in India.
The DNC said the two arrived in Dhaka on a Thai Airways flight. Acting on a tip-off, officers took positions at the airport at 1pm and detained them at the Green Channel in the arrivals hall.
