Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan set for 3-day Dhaka trip on Thursday
Dhaka, June 4 -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is set to arrive in Dhaka on Thursday for a three-day official visit.
A close confidant of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Fidan is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and other senior policymakers during his stay, the foreign ministry said.
He is also expected to visit Rohingya refugee camps, ministry officials confirmed.
Fidan, who served as head of Turkiye's national intelligence agency for a decade before becoming foreign minister, is expected to discuss a range of bilateral and strategic issues during the visit.
