Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has appointed Mirza Abbas, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and eight others as advisors with ministerial and state ministerial ranks.

Alongside Abbas and Rizvi, Advisory Council member Ismail Zubairullah, and Dhaka University academic Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir were also among the appointees.

Their appointments have taken immediate effect.
