Bangladesh, Sept. 1 -- A tense calm has settled over the Chittagong University campus after violent clashes between students and locals left more than 200 people injured.
On Monday, academic activities were suspended for a second day, leaving the campus unusually quiet.
The normally crowded faculties and student hangouts stood nearly empty, though administrative work continued on schedule.
Army personnel were seen stationed near the campus Shaheed Minar.
No case had been filed over the violence as of Monday morning, said Abu Mohammad Kausar Hossain, chief of Hathazari Police Station.
"Neither party has filed a case yet. There have been no arrests or detentions," he told bdnews24.com.
