Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- Students from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University are staging a road "blockade" programme in Dhaka's Agargaon to push for a three-point list of demands.

On Thursday morning, students gathered under the banner of Krishibid Oikya Parishad (Agriculture Unity Council) and blocked the road.

At 1:45pm, university student and National Citizen Party (NCP) leader Ashiq Ahmed said: "The movement for engineering rights took to the streets with their three-point list of demands. Their movement has been attacked for these demands. We strongly condemn and protest this.
