Dhaka, Oct. 30 -- The West Indies clinched their first T20 series win in more than a year, sealing a 2-0 lead over Bangladesh after defending 149 in Chattogram.

The visitors overcame a dramatic mid-innings collapse and held their nerve with the ball, led by Romario Shepherd and Akeal Hosein, who shared six wickets between them at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium on Wednesday.

Bangladesh's reply never quite clicked despite Tanzid Hasan's fluent 61 off 48 balls.

The young left-hander struck three sixes and as many fours, but found little support as the hosts fell 14 runs short on a pitch that favoured batting. Dew aided batting conditions, yet Bangladesh's middle-order hesitated between caution and aggression.
