Dhaka, April 20 -- Shanta Holdings has handed over Pinnacle, a commercial tower in Dhaka's Tejgaon, marking the completion of Bangladesh's first 40-storey skyscraper.

In a statement, the company said the handover ceremony on Apr 18 marked a "significant milestone for the country's real estate sector".

"Located in Tejgaon, the tower rises 500 ft above the city and stands as the first completed 40 storied skyscraper, reflecting a shift in scale and construction capability in Bangladesh," it said.
