Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- A Dhaka court has postponed the verdict in the murder case of Afroza Begum and her domestic aide Diti, who were killed in a Dhanmondi home in 2019.
The verdict was set to be delivered on Sunday by the Seventh Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court in Dhaka.
However, as the judgment was not ready, Judge Tawheeda Akhter set Feb 17 as the new date, according to the plaintiff's lawyer Khalilur Rahman Asad.
The accused in the case are Afroza Begum's housekeeper Bachchu Mia and Suravi Akhter Nahid, who had joined the household shortly before the incident.
