Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- The government has decided to relocate the Secretariat to the former trade fair grounds in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani shared the decision on Sunday during a briefing after a cabinet meeting.

He said a decision has been made to initiate work shortly, with operations at the new site targeted to start in 2029.
