Dhaka, April 27 -- Travellers from Bangladesh visiting Europe on a Schengen visa must follow the travel plan submitted with their visa application, embassies of those countries in Dhaka have warned.

Failure to do so may create uncertainty over future visa applications to Schengen states, according to a notice issued simultaneously on Monday by several embassies, including Germany's.

"If your Schengen visa has been approved, congratulations!" the notice said. "Make sure to follow the travel plan you submitted in your application."

"Deviating from your predetermined travel plan may result in refusal of future visas to Schengen countries," the notice cautioned.
