Dhaka, March 18 -- Saudi Arabia will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday after the crescent moon of Shawwal was not sighted.

Muslims will complete 30 days of fasting on Thursday, according to a report by Khaleej Times on Wednesday.

Traditionally, Bangladesh celebrates Eid a day after Saudi Arabia.

Ramadan also began in Bangladesh a day after it started in Saudi Arabia this year.
