Bangladesh, July 18 -- The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will not be published on Monday, authorities have said.

They on Saturday attributed the decision to "administrative busyness" at the education boards, saying the results may come out by the end of July.

Prof Syed Akhteruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, told bdnews24.com, "The education minister had set the target of releasing the results on Jul 20.

"However, due to the current situation, those responsible were busy with urgent administrative tasks and could not give the expected time to prepare the results."
