Bangladesh, Aug. 25 -- The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has taken special security measures across the country ahead of the Islamic holy day of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

The security force is working in coordination with other law enforcing agencies, administration, and intelligence agencies to ensure the religious holiday can be celebrated smoothly.

Eid-e-Miladunnabi will be celebrated on Wednesday, Aug 26, which is 12 Rabiul Awal of 1448 Hijri on the Islamic calendar.

RAB announced the special measures in a media statement on Tuesday.
