Dhaka, March 17 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has reported to his office despite the start of the Eid holidays with the Shab-e-Qadr break.
The premier arrived at his office at the Secretariat at 11am on Tuesday, according to his press aide Atiqur Rahman Ruman.
"The Eid holidays have begun from today. Even though it is a government holiday, the prime minister is working," he said.
Tarique's schedule for the day includes a cabinet meeting, he added.
"Before that, he has several meetings, which are now under way."
The Eid break will continue until Mar 23.
