Dhaka, March 21 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has begun exchanging Eid greetings with diplomats, academics and people from different walks of life at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The programme began at 10am on Saturday, according to Tarique's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman.
He said the prime minister joined the Eid prayer congregation at the National Eidgah before heading to the Jamuna for the event.
According to Ruman, Tarique will first exchange greetings with diplomats.
He will then greet cabinet members, lawmakers, distinguished citizens, academics, Islamic scholars, artists and writers, senior government and private-sector officials, and people from different sections of society.
