Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has formally adorned the new principal staff officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division and the new director general of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) with rank badges to mark their promotions.

The ceremony was held at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Lt Gen Mir Mushfiqur Rahman has been appointed PSO of the Armed Forces Division, while Maj Gen Mohammad Kaisar Rashid Chowdhury has taken charge as director general of DGFI.

Army Chief Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Adm M Nazmul Hassan and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan were present at the event.
