Dhaka, Sept. 26 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held meetings with the heads of government of various countries and top officials of international organisations during his trip to New York

The meeting discussed various issues related to bilateral interests, including expanding trade and investment between Bangladesh and these countries and organizations.

Tarique is visiting New York to take part in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. On the sidelines of the session, he is meeting with leaders from across the world.

On Thursday, he met with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at UN Headquarters. The two leaders exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, including trade.
